On Thursday evening Mistress Star and her guest Will held another rope bondage tutorial event, this, the second of three sessions featured a Body harness or in traditional Japanese Karada (body) or in modern terms kikkou (diamond patterned ties ).
A bondage rope harness is a binding which involves the tying of an intricate structure of rope around the body in a complex web-like fashion. A rope harness is similar in effect to a leather bondage harness, in that both are not in themselves normally used to bind a person, but are used to apply pressure over the area bound and can provide securing points for other bondage techniques, including suspension bondage.
The session was intended to be beginner friendly, providing information ranging from recommended ropes to length and thickness of the required ropes. The video tutorial explains each step from where and how to start to the final harness .The rope harness uses around 10–15 m of rope depending on the size of the subject and how elaborate the final harness is, it involves multiple passes of rope from front to back around the body to build up the characteristic diamond-shaped rope pattern.
The video below will guide you through the stages of making up the harness as well as providing options to add finishing detail to your harness. All the ropes used were 6mm thickness and 10m lengths, all of which you can purchase from the store on this site
